Hey y'all. I hope that week three into 2018 is going to be good. The first snowstorm of the year has happened and it was huge! At least in Bethlehem, it was a nice day. It was sad to see my boyfriend leave in the morning, but it is nice to see him come home every afternoon and just be us. Also, this is after I watched the new jump from the Lehigh Valley supposed to get getting a dusting to three inches, then jumping to four to six inches. I love the scenery in Bethlehem and it is nice to see it every day now.
This is my place to share what I have gone through. From my daily life, friendships, relationships, and beauty. It may sound like I am ranting, I am sharing my experience in the hopes that it will help someone around the world.

Also, this week past week is my last week of freedom as I start working on 1/8!!! The day after this, I go back to work. As you might have read from previous posts, I haven't been working since I moved out here. But, on another note, if you read my New Year's post, New Year's Day is very special to me!

Happy Anniversary and Happy New Year!
It's 2018!! Happy 2018 y'all!!! This is the first post of 2018 and I know that this is a new year but first I must say this....
Today marks one year since my boyfriend and I made it offical that we are boyfriend and girlfriend. We met five-six months before and in the almost two years together, this has been amazing. From meeting your friends and family to moving out to PA for you. I love you more than you know. He has made me the happiest girl on the world and I have been to places that I will forever treasure. The almost two hour car rides every other weekend was worth spending as much time together as possible. I love making you laugh and smile and doing things together. From going to sporting games to going to the movies, I can't wait to see what year two brings for us honey. I love you to the moon and back and I can't wait for 2018 suprises!!!
I hope everyone has a safe and happy new year y'all!!!
Shannon

Claddagh Ring
Hey y'all. I hope that everyone is having a great day where ever you are reading this. This is a beautiful fall day and it was a perfect day to write and share something that is close to me and something I would pass on to my daughters.

Traditions
Hey everyone. I hope you are having a good day where ever you are. I know here in New Jersey, it is a nice fall like a day in the summer time. I can't wait that fall starts in a few weeks. But I want to talk about something that isn't what I would usually post about. Today I want to talk about something that many families have in common; that is traditions.

tattoos!!!
tattoos, tattoos, tattoos...
don't know what to get? flowers, birds, hearts, names...
tattoos aren't for everyone... you must research what you want, pick the place, choose the size; there are many factors that go into making the choice to having it. is getting a tattoo right for you?
the definition of tattoo is: the mark of the skin with color and ink; this means IT IS PERMANENT!!!
for me, I grew up with tattoos around... my da is covered in tattoos. I learned my animals from the tattoos my da has. I knew that when I was little I wanted be get some "ink".
when I was fifteen or so, I sat down and decided to research how it is done and what I wanted to get. when looking to get a tattoo please, please, please research how it is done. there are many ways that a tattoo can be done.. here in the States, artists use a machine gun with the needle attached. old school tribal tattoos where done as a tapping motion. I also brushed up on cleanliness of guns and tattoo shops.
look around your town and see how many shop are around. don't be afraid to call and ask questions. it will help you figure out what you wanna do.
my first tattoo started as a henna tattoo. I was at a party and saw the clover and got it.. a few months later, I went to work with my da and he asked me if I wanted my tattoo. by this time I was sixteen. I said sure. So we pulled into the shop. My da's tattoo artist was free, and we went through it. I was nervous at first, but once the gun was on, the vibration calmed me down. but I must say, once you start, it is hard to just stop.
the tattoo on the back of my neck is my memorial tattoo to my grandparents. both of my grandfathers served in WWII= dog tags. MLB & AAM= my grandmothers initials. Both of my grandmothers have passed away and my paternal grandfather. I have one surviving grandfather on my mother's side. I still need to finish it but I will post a new photo when it is done.
The shoulder tattoo was a bet for when the Giants won the superbowl. also too I am a NY Giants fan... Go Big Blue.
here are the links to the tattoo shop I personally use.
Tattoo 46 Expressive Ink
look around, talk to an artist, plan your idea... just don't go and get something you will regret down the road. also, get tattoos in places that are easy to hide. if you have tattoos in exposed places, future employers could look and say something. be wise and smart about please.
