  3. Beobachten Komödien, entweder TV-Shows oder Filme. Steckt mich immer in eine bessere Stimmung.
  4. Schreiben Sie, wie ich fühle üblichen hilft.
  5. Schreien Sie es heraus.
  6. Ein Nickerchen oder schlafen sie ab.

dies ist ein kurzer Beitrag und was ich tun, um ein wenig besser fühlen. hoffe, dass dies hilft, einige Leute.

Sie sprechen y'all soon!

here is the English translation of the post:
in my prior post, I talked about being depressed. a more detailed post is in the works soon; but this is about what I like to to keep my mind off of the dark things in my head.

  1. I sing along with some playlists on my iPod. I don't care who is around. I even have a playlist to dance to like I am part of a band and travel the world on tour.
  2. Singing Celtic Woman makes me feel like I am in Ireland. I feel like I am in Erie and live in Europe. One day that will come true.
  3. Watching comedies, either TV shows or movies. Always puts me in a better mood.
  4. Writing out how I feel usual helps.
  5. Crying it out.
  6. Taking a nap or sleeping it off.

this is a short post and what I do to feel a little better. hope that this helps some people.

talk you y'all soon!

depressed on a Sunday night

so this is a casual post...

i am in the process of making dinner and all i do is ask one simple question and my mom makes some remarks that i know are meant for me.... why is it that my parents look at my brother as the golden boy and i am the ugly step child. i do my best things at night. so why question me...

up until tonight, my weekend was going good... work was busy, i had some really good fun with my friends... what more could i ask for... right?!?

usually at work, things are slow during the season, (which is strange because that year during this time, it was busy) it was a busy day. then i went out and had some fun before i went to my bestie's house. then i spent the rest of Saturday with Tiara and doing fun things and making up for not chilling on our appointed Friday hangout session.

Sunday is usually a lazy clean day. no grocery shopping was amazing. I was able to sleep in. the day was going good until the parent fuck you and clean. i am calmed down to a degree and eating my salad for dinner. I hope the rest of the week goes so much better.

i get depressed and feel alone at the drop of a hat. it gets in the way of me wanting to be fun and go out. i feel that no one will date me because i am not the thinnest thing ever. my friends have to drag me out of the house to go out and to do things. i hate living like this and i wanna change. but old habits die hard.

i wish that the guy for me just comes and takes me away and i never  have to look at Roxbury again. i just wanna pick up and leave the past at the door and start to write a new chapter. everyday i feel like Monica from the classic 90's tv show Friends, i am the ugly girl that no one talks to. reliving high school all over again. i am too fat for anyone and everyone looks at you like ohhh she is ugly, fat. no one will ever date here. her younger brother is cooler and more fun to be with. my parents even like the brat more.

just writing this makes me cry. my little brother is doing better then me? :( it makes me curl in a ball and never wanna leave me room. i challenge anyone break down the wall and help me through the tough times and be there. i hide my hurt well, so have fun breaking my shell.

Again, Harmons!!!

Well, once again I was at Harmon's to get some products that I regularly use and some that I saw and just wanted to try. This was a regular bi-weekly or every three week trip.

So I bought the usual lotion and moisturizer for both morning and night, a facial mask, cleansing pads for the Wave, nail clippers, a combs and brushes to blowout my hair.

Some new things I purchased that I am looking forward to trying:

  1. Tree Hut Shea Sugar Body Scrub in Coconut Lime-  The smell is amazing and there are different scents to pick from. This is an exfoliating body scrub... Can't wait to see what this product can do.
  2. L'Oreal Sleek It Iron Heat Spray- I was the advertising for this and a Youtuber I follow (Kayley Melissa) talk about this. I have used many heat protection products and I am looking froward to seeing how this works. I have different heat protection products for blowdrying and for using the flat iron. This says that it will stay straight for three days. Can't wait to see how this will work with my curly hair.
So,  I post some blogs with the theme of Getting Ready With Me for different things. Different hair styles and makeup look... Also blog posts about the day and things like that...

hope y'all enjoy and talk to y'all soon

Haul!!! Harmon's is my drug!!!

Heyy everyone. So I am sitting here in cold NJ on a rainy day. I thought I'd share what I did thus far before I go on with my night and thought I'd share with you what I purchased and I will write a review for the products mentioned in today's post in a few weeks.. Prices may vary from store to store due to sales or coupons. Depending on where you live, you can go buy in another drug store. I personally shop at Harmon's. This is from my purchase on Wednesday 2/19.

  1. Maybelline Dream Fresh BB Cream- I love this product. I wear this instead of foundation. This is always a re purchased product every time.  I wear the medium sheer tint. I may look like a light shade but the light medium shade doesn't match my skin tone. This has SPF 30 so this great for younger skin to protect the skin.
  2. Kit-Kat Minis- This is my late night sweet snack. I have found that I can buy then a little cheaper at Harmon's compared to CVS or Walmart. Freeze them and chop them and put on ice cream or just pop them in your mouth.. I love them!!!
  3. e.l.f. Translucent Matifying Powder- I was this and I wanted to try it. This is supposed to be used as a setting powder.
  4. Turbie Twist Hair Towel- I have the Turbie Towel and it is absorbent. With the twist and loop design, it should be easier to dry your hair; this claims that you don't have to blowdry as long.
  5. Tresemme 24hr Body Blow Dry Lotion- I love Tresemme products. So I am always looking for a new product blow out my curly hair. So I am looking forward trying this product.
  6. Tresemme Platinum Strength Heat Protection Spray-  This is supposed to help repair 2yrs worth damage to your hair. I have used it in the past. I am currently using the deep conditioner too and I am loving it.
  7. Garnier Fructis Damage Eraser Strength Reconstruction Butter- This is from the Damage Eraser collection. I can't wait to use this hair butter. This claims to strengthen and repair your hair.
  8. Herbal Essences Moroccan Me a Miracle 7in1 Serum with Argan Oil- Argan Oil is really good for the hair. It helps your hair look healthy and shine for days. This is a 7in1 and I can't wait to try this product.
This is not a sponsored post of any kind. I just bought these with my own money. I use them to see what I like to use for my curly hair to help keep it straight. In a few weeks I will write about the products from this and another purchase from Harmon's.

hope y'all enjoy and talk to ya soon!!!

Urban Decay Smoked Palette- Nautral Look

For this post, I am talking about Urban Decay's Smoked Palette... I purchased this palette a few months ago at Ulta for $50 and I love it!! There are ten shadows, an eyeliner, and a look book.. The shadow names are interesting and funky like "Evidence" and "Loaded"; which are a pigmented deep blue and green.Kinky and Freestyle are good as a base and highlight colour.
You could really use your imagination with all the color provided. You should be careful of the fall out. I would say that if you are new at using black to start with a little and work your way. Blackout is a good shadow to set eyeliners and for a smokey eye look. The eyeliner is the 24/7 glide-on eye pencil in Perversion. This pencil glides on with ease and come in a variety of colors. If you want to see what else Urban Decay has to offer, go to: www.urbandecay.com

I always start off with a clean face. Then I prime my eye with the primer that comes with the palette. A pea sized amount is good for both eyes. Then I set the primer with a mix of Kinky and Freestyle. With a shadow brush or a clean finger, apply Barlust evenly on the lid. Blend with either base color in the crease. Apply the shadow as many times needed. The more you layer, the longer it stays. On a angled liner brush or a stiff smudge brush, apply Barlust on the lower lashline, clean the brush and apply a matte brown to line; in the palette you can use Backdoor. You can substitute all of these products.

I know that in this photo is hard to see but I am wearing "Barlust" and the brown-bronze makes my brown eyes stand out. I always wear bottom liner and set it with a the same shadow.

If you wanna take this into a night time look, use Perversion eye liner to tightline the upper and lower lines, I personally just do the bottom lid due to my eye shapes but do what ever works for you. Use the Blackout shadow to set the bottom waterline.

Take this time before doing back out to touch up and thing, so add another coat or two of mascara, add some lip gloss, touch up the brows and face; out to dinner with the girls, you date night, what ever you may be doing.

Can't wait to post more reviews and photos!

tattoos!!!

tattoos, tattoos, tattoos...
don't know what to get? flowers, birds, hearts, names...
original photo

tattoos aren't for everyone... you must research what you want, pick the place, choose the size; there are many factors that go into making the choice to having it. is getting a tattoo right for you?

the definition of tattoo is: the mark of the skin with color and ink; this means IT IS PERMANENT!!!

for me, I grew up with tattoos around... my da is covered in tattoos. I learned my animals from the tattoos my da has. I knew that when I was little I wanted be get some "ink".

when I was fifteen or so, I sat down and decided to research how it is done and what I wanted to get. when looking to get a tattoo please, please, please research how it is done. there are many ways that a tattoo can be done.. here in the States, artists use a machine gun with the needle attached. old school tribal tattoos where done as a tapping motion. I also brushed up on cleanliness of guns and tattoo shops.
look around your town and see how many shop are around. don't be afraid to call and ask questions. it will help you figure out what you wanna do.

photo edited
my first tattoo started as a henna tattoo. I was at a party and saw the clover and got it.. a few months later, I went to work with my da and he asked me if I wanted my tattoo. by this time I was sixteen. I said sure. So we pulled into the shop. My da's tattoo artist was free, and we went through it. I was nervous at first, but once the gun was on, the vibration calmed me down. but I must say, once you start, it is hard to just stop.

the tattoo on the back of my neck is my memorial tattoo to my grandparents. both of my grandfathers served in WWII= dog tags. MLB & AAM= my grandmothers initials. Both of my grandmothers have passed away and my paternal grandfather. I have one surviving grandfather on my mother's side. I still need to finish it but I will post a new photo when it is done.

The shoulder tattoo was a bet for when the Giants won the superbowl. also too I am a NY Giants fan... Go Big Blue.
here are the links to the tattoo shop I personally use.
Tattoo 46  Expressive Ink

look around, talk to an artist, plan your idea... just don't go and get something you will regret down the road. also, get tattoos in places that are easy to hide. if you have tattoos in exposed places, future employers could look and say something. be wise and smart about please.

share your photos on twitter and instagram @punkgurl9859 with #tattoos

talk with y'all soon!!!

Jersey Girl- "The Shore"

This is a post I wrote on a blog that is no longer up and I just wanted to repost this since this is my main blog. I left the text as is since it is a repost and please I am a Jersey girl and I live in the state that spawned "The Jersey Shore" and many other reality shows. So please, enjoy.....................................................

I was thinking of new blog and I was thinking about my favourite things: music, makeup, television, and food. Food blogs are interesting and different from everyones views on food. But I will be blogging about other things too and its not going to be all about food. This is what I love to talk about.
I have been to few states but I have the love of diners and food places because I was born in the diner capital of the States; New Jersey. For all New Jersey has the most diner and the state name should be changed from the Garden State to the Diner State. Not to mention I live on a highway and I live up the street from a diner, a burger joint, and a luncheonette. Jersey is filled with local eats and hidden gems that you can find, if you know or follow the locals. And another tip, I don't like the Jersey Shore, that show just gives Jersey a bad rep and name. But you can find some good eateries down the shore and even on the boardwalks. Depending on what shore town you go to: Wildwood, Atlantic City, Seaside Heights (aka the Jersey Shore), or Cape May. MY shore destination since I can remember is Wildwood.
Being a member of the American Legion, I went to Wildwood every year for Legion convention. My little brother and I would spend hours on the boardwalk while our parents in Convention Center for the convention. I would always go to Payboys Arcade and waste half of the days money on games and food. But If we were hungry, we either went to The Olympic Flame II of Kelly's.
The Olympic Flame II was a find because we couldn't remember where the original Flame was. Flame II has some good Italian food. The pizza is great and the strombolis are huge. I had to take the rest home I was full. But across from Flame II was my mum's favourite place to get a bloomin onion. For all who don't know that a bloomin onion is, the onion is scored and opened like a flower, battered and deep fried. My mum love them with vinegar and salt. But my other fav place to eat in Wildwood near the walk is Kelly's. Kelly's is a cool restaurant where it feels like everyone that is in there, you are all family. Not to mention thats where many of us Legion members go to eat if you aren't on the boardwalk, at a county party, or at the Legion. Kelly's food is full of love and that is what makes it soo good to me. Not to mention i was a hit with the waitresses when I was about 7-8 years old. But on the way out of Wildwood before we leave. We always go to either the Top Cat or the Apollo. It has been a tradition and the food at both establishments are great.
Thats enough about my South Jersey finds, lets move up to North Jersey where I am from.
I come from the land of nothing!! I live near farms and things but north jersey is haunted and full of things to do! You can see historic Morristown and where George Washington slept and walked around. Go on Shades of Death Rd. or the Viaducts in Blairstown. In my small town of Roxbury, you can see where Washington went to church and where the first Gov. of NJ was buried and walk through the old cemetery.

Looking on the state site will help with the travels and find the touristy things, but I am a Jersey Girl, I know where to go and have some fun ;) outside of the county I live in because there is nothing to really do. I live an hour plus away from fun in either direction.

I will write posts in detail for other regions more like what you could do at the shore and up north.

Valentine's Day 2014!! p.s. My 20th Birthday!!!

allo everyone. today is St. Valentine's Day... today is that special day to spend money on your loved one... make a romantic dinner; give gifts whether it is jewelry, chocolate, or something homemade; it is the thought and effort that counts. Men just get all dressed up and they are ready; but for us ladies, we have the hair, make-up, and clothes to consider to look great for your date. Valentine's Day just happened to be my birthday as well...

for those of us born on this day, it would be nice to have that someone to go out with so you aren't alone. I'm going out with my friends and my one friends birthday is just two days before mine. so it is both birthday in one party weekend!!! But on my birthday, I just relaxed at home since it snowed the night before and I didn't want to dig my car out.

So the makeup look that I love is a bronze eye.. I have brown eyes so I tend to stay near the bronze natural colors. I will add a color depending on my outfit. My new look for anything is a pomegranate color lid with liner on the lower waterline and lashline.

For this year, and my first year posting a Valentine's Day look, I wanted to go with the bronze look.  So, I started with priming my eye. I use Benefit's Shadow Insurance. A pea sized amount is good for both eyes. Apply all around the eye too if you plan on using shadow under the eye. Then I used the Maybelline 24hr Color Tattoo in Bad to the Bronze all over the lid and under the lower lashline. You could use any bronze colored shadow you have. I could have used Barlust by Urban Decay.  (http://www.urbandecay.com/) I apply the shadow with a clean finger all over the lid and under the lashline. then take a dark matte brown shadow on an angled liner and line the upper lashline and lower waterline. Apply your favourite mascara. Mine tends to change all the time. But I use three different kinds on a rotation. Apply two coats and comb your lashes. Next, fill in your brows with a shadow closest to your natural color and seal in your brows with a clear mascara. Once you finish your eyes, then you can move on to the face. I tend to not wear foundation because it doesn't stay on my face. I start of putting my Garnier under eye roller and blend under the eye. Next, I'd apply my Nars concealer under the eye and blend. Also use where your are a little red. Set with your powder or a translucent powder. I use powder only in my T-Zone. Finally, use a setting mist to set your make up. Blot off the extra spray and you are set to go. Carry around blotting papers to fight shine thought out your night.
This look can be worn everyday. It is a simple look and can wear it to work, school, and a night out. Pair this with a natural colored lip and you are set.

hope y'all had a lovely day and I had a good birthday. I will be having fun with my girls on Saturday. hope y'all enjoy this look. please, if you try it please tag me in the photo!!!

have a good day and I'll see you on the next post.... tschüss
