Walgreen's Haul!!!

Heyy y'all.. I hope everyone is enjoying this warm sunny beautiful day. Since I still don't have a car, I am walking to and from many places like work and close stores. I know, walking is good for you but I have been running around like a mad woman between working and writing; I am bloody tired and pooped.

But, I realized that I was running low or I was completely out of some things. So I walked to my local Walgreen's and picked up some things; both beauty and non-beauty related items!!!

  1. Garnier Fructis Style Flexible Control Anti-Humidity Hairspray: I love this line of hairsprays. There are different formulations for different styles. I have the Sleek & Shine Hairspray  and loved it. But I am branching out and trying the lower level of hold for more of an everyday use to lock in my style. Let's see how the anti-humidity works in the upcoming summer heat!
  2. Pantene Pro-V Ultimate 10 BB Creme: This is a repurchased item. And let me tell you I LOVE THIS PRODUCT!!! The things that this product promises are amazing and TRUE!!! I can't stop using this. I use it as part of my everyday product routine!!!
  3. Garnier Fructis Marvelous Oil Deep Nourish- Dry, Damaged Hair: I have the two other oils for unruly frizzy hair and color treated hair so I saw this and thought to add it into the mix. I love the other two oils since I do have frizzy unruly hair and my hair is color treated! Now that it is summer time, my hair gets dry from using heat tools which leads to damage.
  4. Vaseline lip therapy in cocoa butter: I have heard good things about the lip therapy products. I was going to buy the one that makes your lips have a rose tint to them. But, I prefer to keep them how they look and
  5. Sally Hansen Ouch-Relief Wax Strip Kit: I have seen this product a lot on many of the You-tubers that I follow and that made me want to try it. I know that waxing hurts like a mother fucker but I have tried so many hair removal things in the past. I have thick hair and for me it is hard to find something that will work. Being that this have pain relief technology, this should help reduce the pain of waxing.
  6. Skintimate Skin Therapy Moisturizing Shave Cream: I LOVE THIS!!! I have been a loyal customer with this shave cream. This comes in a purple can and is best used with the Schick Hydrosilk razor. I love both this shave cream and razor. Keeps my legs smooth and hydrated then I use the Aveeno Daily Moisture Body Lotion with SPF and amazing things happen.
Among the beauty things that I bought, I was out of junk food and drink.
You can ask everyone and say that I love Sour Cream and Onion flavored Lays chips and Pringles. So I had to restock on those. The Pringles where 3/$5 and the chips were regular priced. I also have a sore spot for Arizona Sweet Tea in the tall $0.99 cent cans. I bought two so that way I don't drink them all. Drinking those is a sad sad addiction. And last but not least I purchased the Aquafina flavor splash in So straw-berry: At our new apartment, they landlord puts water softener in the water and to be frank, the water tastes like SHIT!! There is a weird salty flavor and I just don't like it. We even have one of those water purifiers on the faucet so it doesn't taste so bad but is still tastes like fucking SHIT! Coming from well water that didn't have any additives, I needed something to add taste to the water. So the last time I went to Walgreen's, I bought it and loved it. So on this trip, I bought two of them so I didn't run out of it and I can drink the water. With the water tasting like shit, I was drinking da's water and iced tea he has in the spare fridge to take to work.

So there ya have ladies and gents, that is what my purchases were and it all came to less than $60!!! I purchased all of these products with my own money and wasn't sponsored in any way shape of form!!
Hope y'all enjoyed this and chat with y'all soon!!!

Again, Harmons!!!

Well, once again I was at Harmon's to get some products that I regularly use and some that I saw and just wanted to try. This was a regular bi-weekly or every three week trip.

So I bought the usual lotion and moisturizer for both morning and night, a facial mask, cleansing pads for the Wave, nail clippers, a combs and brushes to blowout my hair.

Some new things I purchased that I am looking forward to trying:

  1. Tree Hut Shea Sugar Body Scrub in Coconut Lime-  The smell is amazing and there are different scents to pick from. This is an exfoliating body scrub... Can't wait to see what this product can do.
  2. L'Oreal Sleek It Iron Heat Spray- I was the advertising for this and a Youtuber I follow (Kayley Melissa) talk about this. I have used many heat protection products and I am looking froward to seeing how this works. I have different heat protection products for blowdrying and for using the flat iron. This says that it will stay straight for three days. Can't wait to see how this will work with my curly hair.
So,  I post some blogs with the theme of Getting Ready With Me for different things. Different hair styles and makeup look... Also blog posts about the day and things like that...

hope y'all enjoy and talk to y'all soon

Haul!!! Harmon's is my drug!!!

Heyy everyone. So I am sitting here in cold NJ on a rainy day. I thought I'd share what I did thus far before I go on with my night and thought I'd share with you what I purchased and I will write a review for the products mentioned in today's post in a few weeks.. Prices may vary from store to store due to sales or coupons. Depending on where you live, you can go buy in another drug store. I personally shop at Harmon's. This is from my purchase on Wednesday 2/19.

  1. Maybelline Dream Fresh BB Cream- I love this product. I wear this instead of foundation. This is always a re purchased product every time.  I wear the medium sheer tint. I may look like a light shade but the light medium shade doesn't match my skin tone. This has SPF 30 so this great for younger skin to protect the skin.
  2. Kit-Kat Minis- This is my late night sweet snack. I have found that I can buy then a little cheaper at Harmon's compared to CVS or Walmart. Freeze them and chop them and put on ice cream or just pop them in your mouth.. I love them!!!
  3. e.l.f. Translucent Matifying Powder- I was this and I wanted to try it. This is supposed to be used as a setting powder.
  4. Turbie Twist Hair Towel- I have the Turbie Towel and it is absorbent. With the twist and loop design, it should be easier to dry your hair; this claims that you don't have to blowdry as long.
  5. Tresemme 24hr Body Blow Dry Lotion- I love Tresemme products. So I am always looking for a new product blow out my curly hair. So I am looking forward trying this product.
  6. Tresemme Platinum Strength Heat Protection Spray-  This is supposed to help repair 2yrs worth damage to your hair. I have used it in the past. I am currently using the deep conditioner too and I am loving it.
  7. Garnier Fructis Damage Eraser Strength Reconstruction Butter- This is from the Damage Eraser collection. I can't wait to use this hair butter. This claims to strengthen and repair your hair.
  8. Herbal Essences Moroccan Me a Miracle 7in1 Serum with Argan Oil- Argan Oil is really good for the hair. It helps your hair look healthy and shine for days. This is a 7in1 and I can't wait to try this product.
This is not a sponsored post of any kind. I just bought these with my own money. I use them to see what I like to use for my curly hair to help keep it straight. In a few weeks I will write about the products from this and another purchase from Harmon's.

hope y'all enjoy and talk to ya soon!!!
