You could really use your imagination with all the color provided. You should be careful of the fall out. I would say that if you are new at using black to start with a little and work your way. Blackout is a good shadow to set eyeliners and for a smokey eye look. The eyeliner is the 24/7 glide-on eye pencil in Perversion. This pencil glides on with ease and come in a variety of colors. I always start off with a clean face. Then I prime my eye with the primer that comes with the palette. A pea sized amount is good for both eyes. Then I set the primer with a mix of Kinky and Freestyle. With a shadow brush or a clean finger, apply Barlust evenly on the lid. Blend with either base color in the crease. Apply the shadow as many times needed. The more you layer, the longer it stays. On a angled liner brush or a stiff smudge brush, apply Barlust on the lower lashline, clean the brush and apply a matte brown to line; in the palette you can use Backdoor. You can substitute all of these products.

I know that in this photo is hard to see but I am wearing "Barlust" and the brown-bronze makes my brown eyes stand out. I always wear bottom liner and set it with a the same shadow.
If you wanna take this into a night time look, use Perversion eye liner to tightline the upper and lower lines, I personally just do the bottom lid due to my eye shapes but do what ever works for you. Use the Blackout shadow to set the bottom waterline.
Take this time before doing back out to touch up and thing, so add another coat or two of mascara, add some lip gloss, touch up the brows and face; out to dinner with the girls, you date night, what ever you may be doing.
Can't wait to post more reviews and photos!
