Luck of the Irish!

It is March and that means a holiday is right around the corner: St. Patrick's Day is coming y'all. The Guinness will be flowing and the green will be flying around and this Irish Princess will be all decked out in Green!
I take Paddy's Day seriously since I can pick out something Irish themed and my makeup changes from years to year! I will either paint my nails either green or black but both colours will appear in my makeup. As the parade gets closer please check my Instagram for what I am doing and then a post on Tuesday 3/17 for what I am actually doing on Paddy's Day!!

Lá Shona Fhéile Pádraig

Lá Shona Fhéile Pádraig!!!
March 17th brings a smile to this face of mine. I am proud to be represent all of the nationalities that I am but St. Paddy's holds a special place in my heart.
Being a girl that was raised in a multi-racial family, I am on the light skinned side being that my father is white and my mother is black. Growing up in the NY tri-state, I have seen many things. But on holiday out of the year has always been my favourite besides my birthday(even though I bitch about my birthday every year. next year is the big 2-1).  I get to learn many new things about the Irish and be proud of the rich history.

My Paddy's Day was fun with work and singin' and dancin' to Irish tunes. I did go to a parade over the weekend. A post with all the details recounting my weekend will come soon.

But I wanted to post this to wish everyone a happy and safe St. Paddy's and enjoy!!!
