Lá Shona Fhéile Pádraig!

Lá Shona Fhéile Pádraig!

In English that means Happy St. Patrick's Day!! Today is the where the Irish and non-Irish alike celebrate Ireland's patron saint: Patrick. Paddy's Day started as a religious holiday to celebrating with festivals, parades, drinking, and more... I went to a local parade and sported my green; but green was never the colour of this holiday?!?

I just wanted to say have a safe and fun day. Drink up on Jameson and Guinness, eat the food, sing a few tunes with your mates and try not to do anything stupid please. This Irish lass is dressed up and having a grand old time celebrating :p

Luck of the Irish!

It is March and that means a holiday is right around the corner: St. Patrick's Day is coming y'all. The Guinness will be flowing and the green will be flying around and this Irish Princess will be all decked out in Green!
I take Paddy's Day seriously since I can pick out something Irish themed and my makeup changes from years to year! I will either paint my nails either green or black but both colours will appear in my makeup. As the parade gets closer please check my Instagram for what I am doing and then a post on Tuesday 3/17 for what I am actually doing on Paddy's Day!!

Lá Fhéile Pádraig is close!!!

St. Paddy's Day is fast approaching and I can not wait!!!! I love going to the parade in Morristown and being with my family in town. So the day before the parade I am going to give you a run down of what the plans are for hair, make-up, outfit, and the the day... On Monday, actually St. Paddy's day I will post a detailed post of photos and the day. I will also provide links to articles to read up on one of my favourite holiday..

The general outline of the hair is wavy so I curled my hair last night. Will do a little retouching if need be on parade day.
Make-up: either a nude lid with black liner and mascara or green shadow with black liner and mascara
Clothes: sneakers, blue jeans, shamrock tank top, black sweater, and a jacket  for the weather
Accessories: bead, beads, beads, whatever I buy or get on parade day!!! and I have a tiara that says "Irish Princess" that I am so wearing!!! will post a photo with the whole look either on Sunday or Monday.
