New Year and More!!

Hey everyone. I know that I have been absent for the past few months, but I have a good reason.

Seaside Weekend!!!

This weekend is going to be a GREAT WEEKEND!!! When this is posted, I will be in Seaside Heights for one of my favourite events to attend. The title might say I am having fun. But, I am working and enjoying time with family. Not my blood relatives but my Legion family. This weekend in POW/MIA weekend. This has been an event I attend every year since I was in sixth grade I think. I don't remember. This is an American Legion event that is open to the public. If you are in NJ and want to learn something, join in on the education!!! And it is right at the end of the boardwalk. It's a win-win I think.
It is an all night flag retirement service that has different services and readings of POWs and MIAs from different wars. This is a somber event in my opinion. The opening services are a great way to learn what goes on. This is one of few that are all night. And as an Auxilary member, I am proud to be part of a great organization.

This is the time where I get catch up with people from SouthJersey. I do not get to see them often since I am based in Northen New Jersey. I love talking with my friends and others. If I need a break from everything, I can just wander on the boardwalk and come back.
Once I am tired and need to sleep, I go back to my hotel room that I share with my dad since it is usually the two of us. Then we head back to the beach for the closing service and breakfast after. Once everything is packed up, it is time to drive back home.
This year it is from Friday September 18th to Saturday September 19th 7pm to 7am.

Online Education: Good or Bad?

Everyone is entitled to their opinions on everything. When 're you thinking about going back to school would you rather it in a classroom or sit at home in your jammies? For me sitting in a classroom wasn't an opinion since I was working and driving everyone around. So, I turned to online college. And I know that it has only been a month but I love online school!!!

~Halfway Through~

Allo everyone! This is a quick update and checking in. Lately, I have been very busy with school and work. So I haven't blogged in almost a month!!! I am trying to balance work, school, and this. But I am working hard on things to post and might have a huge redo and write things on a regular basis. More photos and more posts on my social media!
School is going well, midterms are over and the term ends August 23rd then I start my second term on the 31st!! I am really enjoying TESC and online learning. I think it makes life easier and still can have a crazy life; no what is going on this is flexible on your terms.

First Week of School

Hello everyone! I hope y'all are doing well in the nice weather. This is the end of a week of crazy. I started school on Monday and I have to say, it has been a good first week. It is different than sitting in a classroom and long hours on a campus. Going online allows me to have the flexibility to work and get an education. In four short years, I will have my BA in History and then move on to my MA in History. I can't wait to start paying student loans and everything off eventually!!!

First Day Of..

It has been almost three years since I graduated from high school and I should have gone to Montclair State and would be graduating next year as part of the 2016 class. But, plans changed and I stayed home to work and was going to go to county college for my associates before going on to get my bachelors degree. Today was the first day TESC and I can't wait to get the ball rolling on my education and make a better life for myself.

History is something that I am very passionate about and love to learn about. Online classes will make it easier to get a degree and you can with a busy schedule!!! You are the person in control of your life and nothing will change that!!

I hope that many of you are following your heart and working towards something that makes you smile and happy!! :)
